Kristin Kreuk And Family
Kristin Kreuk is an actress from Canada who is recognized for her role as Lana Lang in Smallville. She has also acted in many other appreciated movies like Snow White and Partition. She was born to Peter Kreuk and Deanna Che in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her father is a Dutch and mother a Chinese. Her mom although being from a Chinese descent was born in Indonesia. Her mother and father are landscape architects, and hold respectable positions in British Columbia.
She also has a sister, Justine who is younger to her by five years. She had trained herself in Karate and gymnastics. She attended Edith Cavell Elementary and Secondary school in Vancouver. She had great plans to study environmental science, forensic science and psychology. She was spotted by a casting director for the series Edgemont to play the character of Chinese Canadian in Vancouver.
She had taken the acting part seriously and is since then seen doing many roles. She was appreciated for her role as a Muslim girl in the movie Partition which was based on partition in India.
She was selected for Smallville after writers of this show watched her in Snow white. She was seen in all the eight episodes and then went to sign another television series called Chuck. She was the brand ambassador for Neutrogena for nearly more than two years which made her brand’s longest spokesperson. She has done films which actually fit to her character of being soft and sober. She recently signed a Japanese horror film.
Apart from all the work, she also believes in lot of charity work which she keeps doing and known for. She is quite active in the events organized by the American Red Cross and these events are totally dedicated to promoting energy conservation.
