Ray Romano And Family
Ray Romano, an American actor, writer and stand-up comedian, was born on December 21, 1957. Lucie, Raymond’s mother, taught piano while Albert Romano, Raymond’s father, was a professional in real estate and also an engineer. Raymond spent his early days of his life in Forest Hills, which is in the neighborhood of Queens.
Everybody Loves Raymond made him popular, and people had admired him the most for this show. Ice Age films were another platform that contributed a lot to his success. Presently, Raymond is featured in Men of a Certain Age, a mixture of comedy and drama on TNT.
Raymond did his schooling from Our Lady Queens of Martyrs in Forest Hill and then Archbishop Molloy High School. In 1975, he finished his high school from Hillcrest High School. Fran Drescher was his class fellow. He also went to Queens College, Flushing, New York for some time and studied accounting, but due to poor grades he quit.
Romano married to Anna, his colleague at a bank in the year 1987. They have four children together -- daughter Alexandra, twin sons Matthew and Gregory and son Joseph Raymond.
His on screen daughter in Everyone Loves Raymond is named after his life daughter, and so also was the case with his on screen twin sons. However, Raymond felt uncomfortable about this, so the twins names were changed on the screen.
Ray Romano's real life family have appeared several times in the sitcom with his real life daughter playing his on screen daughter's best friend, and his father playing the buddy of his on screen father.
