How Do You Change The Spark Plugs On A 2005 Toyota Sienna ?

Some of the most common starting troubles with the car are due to the spark plugs. Spark plugs need to be changed regularly in a car if you do not want any unexpected starting problems with your car. Changing the spark plug is very easy in any car, but the placement of it may slightly differ from model to model.

When you open the bonnet of the car, you are not going to see anything because most of it is covered and secured. The spark plugs are always found closer to the engine in any car. When you remove the plastic tops, you will notice that most V6 engines are mounted side ways and the three basic spark plugs are found here. The other 3 will be bang opposite to the initial three of them. So, there are a total of six spark plugs which send out the spark when you turn the key in the car.

However several experts think that the Sienna does not need a spark plug change that often. If you are having a mileage problem, then you may need to change them. The rear spark plugs are located in three deep holes very close to the front three. The spark plugs can be easily removed by pulling of the caps. Just make sure that there is no hose in the way when you are pulling it out. Sometimes, the spark plugs may need just some cleaning and they will start working fine. Replace the engine cover and the nuts as they came.
