When there is any ailment in the bones or tissues, magnesium assists in making the calcium enter faster into the system resulting in faster response as well. Calcium is present in dairy products, eggs, nuts, green vegetables, whole grain and legumes. Magnesium is available in most vegetables, sesame seeds, almonds and other green leafy vegetables.

Excessive intake of protein in the form of meat should be avoided since it results in drainage of calcium from the body.
