Lines Of Palmistry

The lure of knowing about one’s future lies within each human being. No wonder you often see people flocking around anyone who professes to have even a little knowledge of palmistry. Genuine palm reading undoubtedly has the potential to predict a lot about one’s life. This science primarily involves the study of 4 basic lines, namely the life line, head line, heart line and fate line.

Even amongst these four, the life line is rated the most important. This line originates from the area between the index finger and thumb and travels towards the wrist. There are two schools of thought pertaining to the life line. One holds the belief that a life line’s length indicates the age of the individual; while modern palmistry disregards this belief. The new philosophy suggests that instead the life line signifies the health and critical events in one’s life. The head line also originates from the same site as the life line but extends horizontally on the palm. This line is rather important when it comes to judging the individual’s mental ability, general belief and attitude towards life.

Now comes the line that everyone desires to know more about, the heart line. As in the case of the head line, the heart line also moves horizontally on the palm but extends towards the edge of the palm. Although a short heart line indicates little inclination of the individual in matters of love but if it is deeply etched then it certifies stable affection. An extremely romantic person generally portrays a curvy heart line. The fate line is also known as the luck line or destiny line. This line is seen moving from the wrist towards the bottom of the fingers. A clearly engraved fate line suggests a strong role of destiny in your success. However, you will have to establish yourself with the help of your own potential when the life line and fate line are joined together.

Besides these main lines, there are several other lines such as the lines of opposition, intuition, influence and escape; each having its own specific significance.
