Fruits are good for health, and have several benefits for the body. Nutritionists agree that a healthy serving of fruit everyday can help to keep a person healthy all their life.

There are several nutritional values that a person can get by eating fruit.There are many different types of fruit. Fruits are mostly sweet or mildly sour and taste good. One can have fruits by just cutting it up and eating or make juices and smoothies, or even as a part of custard and cakes. Fruits can be made in several interesting ways to consume. There are hundreds of varieties of fruits available across the world. Usually fruits that are not grown and cultivated in the United States are exotic varieties. However, they are imported from other countries.

Fruits come in different sizes and colors. You can also tell the qualities of the fruit by looking at them sometimes. Usually red fruits are sweet to eat, and they have a crisp or rich texture. Yellow fruits are high in phosphate, and also have creamy pulp in them mostly. Green and orange fruits are high in Vitamin C, and their consistency varies. Fruits that are sour are rich in Vitamin C, and have antioxidant properties. Fruits that are sweet usually are high in proteins and carbohydrates, and are good for making juices. Some fruits are dark colored, but they are very tasty too.

In the United States of America some of the most popular fruits are apples, oranges, kiwis, peaches, bananas, watermelon, pumpkin, various types of berries, and cherries.
