Grape jelly is very tasty to eat and serves as a nice snack. It only takes about 30 minutes to prepare the jelly once you have all the ingredients ready.
Here is a simple recipe to make grape jelly which is fast and quick. However, when you choose the grapes make sure that they are juicy. You may choose green or red or purple grapes for the jelly. Make sure they are fresh, and none of the fruits are rotten anywhere.Wash the grapes thoroughly and then drain the water with the help of a strainer. Put all of them into a large kettle and let them cook on medium heat. After some time, the grapes will turn really soft. This could take about ten to fifteen minutes. Put the grapes into a jelly bag so that all the juice drains of into a jar or a pot you have placed below. Keep squeezing the bag so that the juice completely drains out. Once you have collected all the juice, discard the pulp. Bring the juice to a boil and then add 2 cups of sugar. After the sugar is added, do not boil the juice. Keep stirring the juice and make sure that the sugar has dissolved completely. Pour the mixture into sterilized glass jars and seal it.
The jelly would be ready as soon as it sets. You can use the grape jelly to decorate the top of the cakes, or put it as a topping on the scoop of ice cream. You can even use grape jelly on bread instead of marmalade.
