Onions are especially good for women who have a tendency to develop osteoporosis. Some people also believe that onion juice can promote hair growth.
In spite of the various health benefits of onions, it makes sense to consume them in moderate quantities. Too much intake can lead to gastrointestinal irritation. You must also make sure that you wash them thoroughly before consumption.
