How To Bake Zucchini ?  

Zucchini is a salad vegetable. Fresh zucchini is delicious and best to have. Zucchini can also be baked to perfection and had as a side dish. To bake zucchini, you need garlic salt, zucchini, butter and cheese. Using these simple ingredients one can make a great dish.

Cut the zucchini into thin slices and keep them ready. Line the baking dish with butter and also toss a spoon of butter into the dish. Do not use a very big vessel when the quantity is less. Also, line the bottom of the dish with aluminum foil if necessary.

Add the chopped zucchinis to cheese and butter. Sprinkle some chopped garlic pods and mix them well. Bake it at 170 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for about 15 or 20 minutes. However, keep checking on it several times. At the end, the cheese would have turned golden brow and the zucchini would have been well coated with it. For about three cups of zucchini, you should use one cup of parmesan cheese.

There are several other recipes for baking zucchini. Some people bake it along with bell peppers and also potatoes. However, cheese and butter seem to be the inevitable ingredients while baking. They add a unique flavor. The best thing about this salad vegetable is that it does not lose its crunchiness while baking. Zucchini has a lot of water within, and it remains intact even after baking. Zucchini is good for health and it is low in calories. It can help in losing weight.
