These mites become active during the nights and that is why one of the classic signs of scabies is increasing itching during the nights. Whenever the mites move under your skin, you get the itchy feeling. The mites feed on human blood.
These mites travel under the skin from one spot to another laying eggs. And that is how the scabies infection spreads from one spot of the body to another. The best way to treat scabies is by using creams suggested by the doctor. It is quite easy to treat the infection. However, it should not be left untreated as it can cause anemia in a person over a period of time.
Scabies being a skin infection becomes difficult to treat once it spreads. That is why it should be treated as soon as it starts. It is quite difficult for a person to live with such a disease because of the constant itching. They have to use some medication to get rid of it.
