Puberty is a natural process that takes place in both boys as well as girls. It is completely new change that takes place in a child. The transformation is usually from childhood to adulthood. The changes noticed are breast development, and introduction of menstrual periods. It begins at an early age in between 10-13.
These changes have to happen in a girl and that changes her to a woman. It is surely a celebration time and there should not be any kind of uneasiness in the atmosphere. The body also sends signs from glands to ovaries which starts the puberty process. Initially your breasts will start growing and it takes six months till your breasts fully develop. They become tender and even pain sometimes. They take nearly 6 months to become round and fuller. The nipples darken and your breast size increases according to the size of your body. You will have to start wearing innerwear to provide them support.
The next change that occurs is growth of public and underarm hair. This happens once your breasts have fully grown. Majority of the girls have the tendency to go for waxing, and do not like under arm hair. There are no disadvantages to it. Most girls also notice changes after the menstrual period like their body parts start growing. Their waist starts getting smaller and the body becomes curvy. They will even notice a white sticky discharge that is normally noticed in the undergarments. You might even notice changes in your vagina. Girls even start sweating and hence make sure you keep a deodorant with you. You might start noticing pimples on your face that will be followed by acne. The skin starts releasing hormones and oil glands and hence it is advisable to wash your hands and face with water every day. Do not consume any other drug without consulting your doctor. Girls start menstruating one or two years after attaining puberty.
