Yoga claims that three bodies comprise a yogic body. The physical body also known as sthula sharira is the outer appearance, which is visible to us; while the casual body or karana sharira is the soul; and the energy body or suksma sharira is regarded as most vital component of the body. It is often referred to as the fuel of the body which regulates the body's performance while doing various functions.
Science can define anything but sometimes it fails to measure some tiny components. The electrons which are found in and outside the human body are not visible to us. Though it is true at atomic level, but it is not measurable.
Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine doctors have talked about electro-magnetic body, but it was not accepted by the western medicine doctors and they raised many points against energy meridians and acupuncture. But the passage of time and examples have convinced that an actual yogic body exists.
The main parts of yogic body are Nadis or Energy Meridian, Marmas or Energy Points and Chakras or Energy Vortices. In an electro-magnetic body, 72, 000 Nadis are present which drive the energy to various points of body. 107 Marmas help in healing points. These are the points which are often attacked in martial arts. Seven chakras are the main ones found in body, apart from secondary ones. It is these chakras that change the Earth’s magnetic current into physical body energy, which, in turn, help in balancing the central nervous system and endocrine system.
