How Does Cancer Affect The Human Body ?

Cancer is cluster of more than one hundred (100) diverse infections. A case of cancer arises when cells develop into abnormalities, and start dividing and forming more cells devoid of any control or order. Signs of this tumor include a loss in the cell's characteristic form and precincts.

Cancers have been discovered to have different causes as well as sources. Sometimes, it might be hereditary, at other times it might be caused by a group of chemicals called “carcinogens”, which are present in industrial pollutants, pesticides, and food additives. Thus, people who are exposed to these chemicals are known to be more vulnerable to cancer. By and large, if the cells split when fresh ones are not required, they form a group of surplus tissue called a tumor. This growth, in turn, can damage healthy tissue in its area. The cancerous cells from this tumor can as well break off and travel through the blood or the lymphatic system to create new tumors in other parts of the body.

Depending on the location it first developed, cancer is of various types. Such types include breast cancer, cancer of the lungs, prostate cancer and gastro-intestinal cancer. Whatever name it comes with, the key truth is that cancer is considered to be life threatening disease. For instance, breast cancer, because of breast’s proximity to the major body organs of the lung and heart, if not detected in the early phase before entering the lymphatic system, it can swiftly extend to other parts of the body through the lymphatic system. And if left untreated, it will lead death.
