There are no harmful side effects for a caesarean section surgery in most cases. However, it does involve some discomfort for women during the recovery period and also some dangers while the surgery is being performed.
There is a slight possibility of hemorrhage of the uterus or problems with placenta, which may cause excessive bleeding in the patient and sometimes this excessive bleeding could cause soon after the surgery.
After a successful C section birth, patients experience many discomforting symptoms, which could last for a while after the surgery. One of the most important discomforts that a C section surgery causes is the incision that can result in pain and this is the biggest drawback of this procedure.
The adhesion made on the stomach can cause the skin to scar at that area and the scar tissue forms inside the abdomen or the pelvis. The abdominal adhesions are one of the common side effects in a pelvic or uterus surgery. As the woman’s body begins to heal from the surgery the scar tissue connects all the organs together which also causes the organs to stick to one another. Other symptoms of a C section surgery include discomfort in feeding the baby after the surgery. The pain may cause the mother to feel depressed and in some cases women are unable to feed their babies. Also, during the recovery period for women from anesthesia the baby does not get immediate access to the mother and has to be fed formula milk until then.
