Mediterranean Diet May Not Protect People From Asthma       Countries in the Mediterranean region have low rates of asthma, but this should not be credited to their diet, claims a new study.

       Earlier it was assumed that because the people in the Mediterranean region ate a diet rich in vegetables, fish and fruits that are found growing locally, it was responsible for low rates of asthma compared to countries that did not consume this diet.
