Getting fatigued after doing strenuous activities or exercise is normal and you will recover after some rest. However, there are some people who experience fatigue after eating along with muscle pain. What could be the reason for this as it is quite rare to have this type of problem.
If you check online, you will find that experiencing fatigue after eating with muscle pain seems to be a disorder, which is more commonly known as chronic fatigue syndrome. This syndrome is debilitating in nature and is characterized by extreme fatigue, which does disappear even after a good night's sleep. In fact, many people find that their fatigue gets worse if they eat carbohydrates and sugars.
However, the people who do not pay too much attention to their diet are the ones who experience fatigue after eating with muscle pain. It can be quite difficult to diagnose chronic fatigue syndrome as the symptoms are very vague and include fatigue, muscle pain, impaired memory, inability to concentrate, insomnia and general weakness.
In the US, it is estimated that around one million people suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome and there are still millions of people who have the same symptoms but do not know that it is chronic fatigue syndrome.
There is no known cure for the disorder and the only treatment options available are meant to relieve the symptoms and get the person back on his feet. A person suffering from fatigue after eating with muscle pain has to take care to avoid all foods that bring on the tiredness. And, they will notice that invariably they are more tired when they consume large amounts of carbohydrates and sugar.
